Egyptian Gold comes from the ancient Khorasan wheat. It is believed to have been found in an Egyptian tomb. An Australian farmer was given half a dozen grains, over 30 years ago, and it was planted in his vegetable garden. It grew so well, that it has become a commercial crop that is used in making high protein flour.
This exciting grain is twice the size of normal wheat and ideal for growing wheatgrass and microgreens.
